WELCOME TO THE
WONDERFUL WESTRIDGE LEARNING COMMUNITY!

Please explore our website to learn more about our incredible school programs and activities!
Each year as the achievement bar is pushed higher; our students continue to show their Westridge PRIDE (Personal Responsibility In Daily Effort) and exceed the standards! We appreciate our parental involvement and know how helpful it is in giving our students an incredible learning foundation.
Our 2nd annual Knights on the Run is organized by parents and we appreciate the many hours they donate to making this a fun, successful activity for everyone involved. In conjunction with donations to The Westridge Fund, we have added several more “smartboards” to our classrooms and we are getting closer to our goal of having one in every classroom. Please contact Mr. Joe Fluet, former Advisory Council member at fluetj@yahoo.com if you can help (Your tax deductible checks can be made payable to Westridge Fund, memo: Annual Fund.)
Your volunteer time during lunchtime is greatly appreciated. If you can help monitor our students as they jump rope, please call our volunteer coordinator, Mrs. Chau, at 703.590.3711. From the Science Fair, to Odyssey of the Mind, to Chess, Basketball, Volleyball and Art clubs we value your help.
Our Strategic Plan is based on the goals set by the county. The Advisory Council, composed of staff and parents, gives input into ways to ensure we meet them. Since we have few designated areas that need improvement, we seek parental involvement through many extra meetings. For instance, last year we had two math nights, an attendance night, and a school addition night. Of course, we welcome your feedback whenever you have suggestions. Please contact the teacher first because they frequently have vital information regarding your child. After your discussion with the teacher, if you still have a concern, please call Mrs. Kaye Bush, Assistant Principal, for grades K-3 or myself for grades 4, 5 and specialists.
