Volunteer Needed!
Volunteer opportunities are available! On the last day of the second marking period (currently scheduled for 01/29/10), we need parent volunteers to teach a four-hour course titled, "Safe At Home/Safe Alone," to fourth grade students. Training for volunteers will take place in the beginning of January. If you are interested, please email the School Counselor, Mrs. Smith at: smithkw@pwcs.edu
Field trip Reminder
We are very excited to experience Jamestown! Thank you for turning in the field trip form and dues in a timely manner. Please remember to make arrangements for your child to arrive at school at 6:45 AM on Wednesday, Nov. 18. Buses will leave at 7:00 AM and will return approximately at 6:45 PM.
Traditional Extra Math Practice
For each math unit, 4th grade teachers have been sending home an optional, extra practice math packet from a traditional math resource book. This is an excellent opportunity for students to get some extra support at home to reinforce what is taught in school. Many of the students are completing the math packets to further their mastery of a particular concept. In order to help us conserve paper, we are asking you to sign and return the form below if you would like to continue to receive the traditional extra math practice packets. Please return this form by Nov. 13.
